Testing Research

       During the Fall semester of 2014 I was enrolled in SPF 501, Social Foundations of Education. In this class I examined a variety of ways that the American educational system is influenced by systemic forces including cultural, political, economic, and social factors working together to influence the tides of our K-12 schools. One topic that I felt deserved further examination was the increase of high-stakes standardized testing being administered to our students.
